All Girlguiding volunteers are encouraged to complete 1st Response training – first aid is an invaluable skill to have both within your Girlguiding volunteer role and in your day to day life outside guiding. Don’t forget that as part of our commitment to keeping our girls safe, at least one person at every unit meeting must have a valid first aid qualification.

If needed, any expenses such as travel & parking can be reclaimed from your unit.  If your unit doesn’t have funds for this, you can ask at District or Division to help with this.

Course content:
– A practical skills session to demonstrate your knowledge.

 Important:

Coffee, tea & hot water provided.

Please bring a packed lunch

Please bring a notebook and pen with you, and we ask that you wear uniform for the training, should you have it.
