What? 1st Response Training, in person.
When? This training requires you to attend both of two sessions as follows:
Sun 14th September 2025, 1.15-4.15pm (please arrive for registration at 1.00pm)
Sun 21st September 2025, 1.15-4.15pm (please arrive for registration at 1.00pm)
Where? West Park United Reformed Church, Harrogate, HG1 1BL.
Preparation? Please complete the First Aid e-learning prior to attending – available through the learning platform
About:
This course consists of:
– A practical skills session to demonstrate your knowledge.
All Girlguiding volunteers are encouraged to complete 1st Response training – first aid is an invaluable skill to have both within your Girlguiding volunteer role and in your day to day life outside guiding. Don’t forget that as part of our commitment to keeping our girls safe, at least one person at every unit meeting must have a valid first aid qualification.
Breakdown of the sessions:
1.00pm registration for a 1.15pm prompt start, finish by 4.15pm – both days.
Food / refreshments:
Coffee, tea & hot water provided.
Important:
Please bring a notebook and pen with you, and we ask that you wear uniform for the training, should you have it.
