What? 1st Response Training, in person.
When? This training requires you to attend both of two evening sessions as follows:
Thursday 7th March 2024, 6-9pm
Thursday 14th March 2024, 6-9pm
Where? Hazel House, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 1LE
Who for? All volunteers who need 1st Response training
How much? £20
Preparation? Please complete the First Aid e-learning prior to attending – available through the learning platform

All Girlguiding volunteers are encouraged to complete 1st Response training – first aid is an invaluable skill to have both within your Girlguiding volunteer role and in your day to day life outside guiding. Don’t forget that as part of our commitment to keeping our girls safe, at least one person at every unit meeting must have a valid first aid qualification.
Course content:– A practical skills session to demonstrate your knowledge.
Important:
Coffee, tea & hot water provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
Please bring a notebook and pen with you, and we ask that you wear uniform for the training, should you have it.
