Nell Bank is an exciting, safe and memorable outdoor experience for children. Exploring and understanding the natural world is fundamental to everything we do.

Participants: Rainbows

Cost: £21 for Rainbows (Leaders £1, ratio 1 leader to four )10% of which is non-refundable

Ratios: minimum 2 leaders per booking (first 17 booked will be £1, after 17 places booked will be £3 per leader)

Date: 6th September 2025

Time: arrive at 09.45 for at 10am start. Collect at 2.45pm

Transport: parents to transport – the site cannot accommodate buses.

Venue: Nell Bank Denton Road Ilkley LS29 0DE

What to wear: uniform, trainers or wellington boots, no sash.

What to bring: packed Lunch, waterproof clothing

Program: with Nell Bank tutors we are ‘Going on a Bear Hunt!’ We will discover woodland habitats, mini beasts, pond dipping and much more

Booking: please email, outdoors@girlguidingnyw.org.uk to make your booking, we are asking leaders to complete consent forms and emergency contact details. Please do not forget to ask about photo permission and get consent or make the Outdoor team aware of any participants who doe not have photo permission.
